Facing leukemia was a life-altering journey. During 15 weeks of hospital isolation, connected to a computer by a tube, I battled relentless side effects and the shadow of mortality. Amid the darkness, drawing and creating became my beacon of light, keeping my mind centered and my spirit resilient. Art was my secret island, sustaining my mental health and physical strength. Even when I felt like a machine tackling endless technical problems, my creativity manifested my soul’s strength, embodied by the giant kraken. Grateful for every moment that kept me alive, this experience deepened my passion and dedication to my art.
